Hampton Inn Norwich

Came here for just one night for a little get away with my boyfriend. Very quiet hotel despite how big it is. One side of the hotel you will be facing the highway, the other side you will have a graveyard view. We opted for the graveyard side so we didn’t have to hear any of the highway noise. The cemetery is actually very beautiful and well kept so we did not mind being so close to it. We had a 6th floor king suite with a wet bar. Room was huge but did have a few cleanliness issues. There was a questionable stain on one of the light switches and this weird white stain coming down the cabinets at wet bar. Also our floor smelt like weed during our stay (not the hotels fault) but it was a bit unpleasant having to smell it every time we left the room. The hot tub and pool was the best part of our stay. The pool is HUGE and very clean and the hot tub/whirlpool is relaxing and has a waterfall! Also was very clean! Breakfast was a typical Hampton breakfast. Waffles, omelets, oatmeal, bacon, sausages, muffins, bagels and cereal. The breakfast area was super packed due to a group being there so we just took our food to our room. Receptionists were very friendly and welcomed me (gold member) with two waters and a snack. Very appreciative of that! They do have a shuttle to Mohegan on weekends which we did not utilize. Overall a good stay and would stay here again despite the strange stains in the room and weed smell in the hallway.

The hotel was clean and the room were comfortable. The desk personnel were nice and helpful. We visited Mystic while there and the hotel was located to where a short drive was all that was needed. Breakfast was standard fare. Definately recommend

Great location close to Mohegan. We were greeted and welcomed to the hotel by a very nice crew. The rooms were so clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. Free breakfast in the morning and coffee anytime! Excellent all around!

Rooms, service, and location to casino was great. Had a shuttle that takes you to and from casino. Clean place and staff was friendly. Also the little bar downstairs was great

The room was very clean and big. The included breakfast was very good, nice seating area....I mean for a free breakfast, not bad. Bottled water in the room....for $2.50 each, lol I mean come on, for that price don't bother offering it. But, overall, a very good experience!

Had an excellent stay at Hampton Inn Norwich. The rooms are very hygienic, clean, and well maintained. The breakfast was fresh and well organized, with good variety. The surrounding environment is beautiful, calm, and adds a lot to the overall experience. The coffee is a highlight — really good and available throughout the day. Overall, this is a great location and one of the best places to stay in the area. Would definitely stay here again.

This is our fifth time at this hotel and it is just always so comfortable with great service! We missed the bar tender Liam this time but he deserves all the praise!! Great service!! - from the MA girls (Melissa, Becca, and Emily) Kiana the receptionist was outstanding! Kind, friendly, warm, and welcoming are just some of the ways to describe her! Looking forward to our next stay here at the Hampton Inn :)

I stayed at this location the weekend of 5DEC-7DEC25, coaching at Mohegan Sun for an AAU Volleyball tournament. We were given paper paychecks that weekend by our club and I had placed mine on the nightstand with my wallet and somehow didn't grab it as I left really early Sunday morning. Didn't realize until I was on my way back home to Western Mass. I called and spoke with someone at the front desk (I wish I could remember her name!), who told me she would check with housecleaning and get back to me. Within 20-30 minutes she called back to say housecleaning had already found it and had turned it in to their manager, who had given it to her, and that she would be mailing it to me the next day. Just wanted to express my appreciation to everyone involved in this for their honesty, integrity and great values for doing the right thing in this situation. This says a LOT about the people who are hired and work for the Hampton Inn at Norwich. I will be using them again for sure in the future! THANK YOU!
